Ce matin, je n’ai rien fait. Dans l’après-midi, je suis allé au centre commercial avec ma mère d’accueil et ses amis. J’ai acheté une nouvelle robe. J’ai échangé le noir. Je vais poster une photo de la nouvelle sur FB ce soir. Je vais à un anniversaire / fête du Nouvel An avec Camille ce soir. Je suis excité!
Je pense que c’est tout pour maintenant.

Hi there!
Yesterday morning I was a very helpful engine. (: I helped set the table and empty the dish washer. My host parents had friends over yesterday so I helped clean the house. SInce I was the first one dressed, I also went out to buy bread. That means I get to eat it all. Just kidding! Since I had time before the people arrived, I did my nails for the New Year. They started off baby blue, and by last night my left hand nails said 2012 and my right hand nails said 2013. I’m really into celebrating!!

Cet après-midi, je suis allé en ville avec Camile pour obtenir un cadeau d’anniversaire pour un ami. Quand nous sommes arrivés à la maison, nous avons set down our sacs et allé à Super U. J’ai acheté un cadeau pour un ami de Camille, puis nous avons aussi acheté des bonbons parce que nous étions tous les deux très faim … lol
Donc, j’ai ce nouvel iPhone et je suis super excité. J’ai juste acheter une carte SIM, puis je peux texte mes amis français.
Pas beaucoup, mais c’est tout pour maintenant.

My computer charger broke and my computer battery was dead so I couldn’t post for a few days. Then I got busy with the family and didn’t want to leave the room to post.
Tuesday:
Tuesday was Christmas. We all went over to my host mom’s brother, Eric’s house for lunch. There was a kids’ table and an adult’s table. Meeting Camille’s cousins and spending time with them was really fun! After lunch, we went into town. While we were walking around, Twilight came up. It’s a good thing Camille and her cousin were talking fast in French, because I didn’t see the last movie and they were talking about it. When we got back to Camille’s grandparents house, we got ready for dinner. Camille and I did our nails and got ready. I love dressing up!
Wednesday:
On Wednesday, we all went to have lunch by the beach. It was Camille’s grandparents anniversary. After eating, Camille, her cousins, and I walked along the beach. Then it was back to town to walk around. When we got home, I made a Skype call with CEI. It went well and I got some ideas of things to do. After that, I went downstairs and helped Camille’s grandma with dinner.
Thursday:
On Thursday, I went with Camille and her dad to walk by another beach. The reason for this walk was to see flamingos…yes, flamingos! I have pictures to prove it. That night, we all went to Eric’s house for dinner. After eating and talking, it was time to leave. We said our “good-byes” and went to the other house. It’s kind of sad to think that was the only time I will see Camille’s cousins. They are nice!
Friday:
12 hour drive take 2…Typing this from the car. Just finished watching Easy A for the millionth time. It’s 6:16pm and we started driving at 10:30am. We stopped to eat and for a bathroom break and we are going to stop again to eat dinner. (we made sandwiches before we left the house.) Now it’s about 4-5 more hours of music and sleeping.

Viva’s host family had planned a secret vacation for her for her last week here. She found out yesterday what the surprise was. They are going skiing! I’m so happy for her, it’s her first time seeing snow. That really is something special. French snow.
I am really excited for New Year’s!! It’s one of my favorite holidays, next to Hanukkah, Valentine’s Day, and my birthday. I’ve always wanted to be in New York at this time to watch the ball drop. Maybe one year that wish will come true! Camille and I are going to her friend’s house for New Year’s because it it her friend’s birthday on the 31st. Then I am going to the Seaside with my host family for the last week of vacation.
I’m kind of excited to go back to school because I have some new ideas to test out. On the other hand, I like vacation.

Ce soir, c’est la Eve de Noël. Les cadeaux sont en bas et nous avons tous outfites agréable to wear. Cet après-midi, je suis allé avec Camille, sa cousine et sa tante et son oncle en ville pour faire du shopping. J’ai acheté une robe!
Ce soir nous allons dîner, puis attendre minuit pour ouvrir les cadeaux!

On Saturday all we did was drive, and drive, and drive. 11 hours; from Rennes to Toulon. Look it up and see how far it is! That’s all we did, nothing else. I mean we stopped to eat and stuff but nothing else. Before we left, I went with Camille to buy magazines. All in French and I can actually read and understand it. Not all, but I’m getting there. We arrived at about 11:30pm, talk a little with the family, and went to bed. I am sleeping in my hist mom’s mom’s office room. Camille and her cousin are in the room next to me.
Yesterday, Sunday, I met the rest of the family. Cousins, aunts, uncles…
We all sat outside talking and having drinks. (Juice and stuff) it is actually a LOT warmer here then it is in Bretagne. It’s in the 60s. Not warm for a Hawaiian, but after living here for 4 months, it’s warm.
So I met Camille’s cousins and they are nice. Nicolas, Camille’s brother, is the oldest, meaning they are all under 18 years old.
After lunch, I went into town with Camille and her cousin then we went to watch the Christmas fireworks with the others. I got lots of good pictures, it’s so pretty here!!

English…sorry.
Today was the end of the world, in two ways for me. First, it was the legit “end of the world” and second, tonight was the last time I got to see Viva for a while.
So, at school…
It was weird in Math today because Elly wasn’t there. Now it will just be be and the Australians, until the end of January. Then, je suis tout seul.
I ate lunch with my normal crew, but then a girl from my class and her friends came over to talk to us. FRENCH! In English class, we did NOTHING that involved learning. (nothing involves learning for me though, but still) We sang! After English it was Perm. It was closed today, but I got let in anyway because I didn’t have a class. After school, Viva came over and we talked, laughed, recorded videos, and she help me pack for Toulon. After that, we went to the Crêperie to eat. We laughed so hard! This was the last time I see her for a while, so it was INTENSE! Major water works!
Tomorrow morning I go to Toulon with my host family. It is in the South of France and we will be driving for 12 hours…yipee
Good thing I have my computer, ipod, and candy!
Anyway, I’m not sure about the internet situation there and if I will be able to write. If they is internet, I will write and it will be in French.

Ce matin, j’ai pris le bus avec Viva. Danc le classe de Géo, le prof est venu et m’a dit quel travail à faire. Danc le classe de français, le prof a eu des conférences sur la tableau. The one que j’ai noticed, c’est la Conférence 1D. Bien sûr!
Le prof anglais était à une meeting during la classe, donc je n’ai pas l’anglais aujourd’hui. C’est pas grave.
Pour le déjeuner, c’était un repas de Noël. Rien de spécial … poulet.
Après déjeuner, j’ai eu de temps de 30 min libre. Je me suis assis avec Pierce et a montré mes super rapides-réflexes. Frapper sa main sur la fenêtre.
Après l’école, je vais chez Viva et nous allons faire des cupcakes, chorégraphier une danse, et parler!!

Hier, après la classe d’histoire, j’ai parlé avec le prof pour voir que je peux faire pour mieux apprendre. Elle dit juste s’asseoir et d’écouter en classe, ne prenez pas de notes. Elle a dit aussi qu’elle me donnerait quelque chose à lire pour que je peux apprendre la leçon avant qu’elle soirt enseignée.
A Perm, j’ai écrit tous les mots vocab dans le chapitre que nous étudiions en Physique. L’heure suivante nous avons eu un test en Physique et j’ai terminé tout but une question.
Après l’école, Viva est venu et nous sommes allés au Super U pour acheter des supplies de cupcakes. Après cela, nous sommes rentrés chez moi et packed mon sac de voyage. Nous sommes allés à son cours de danse ce soir-là et je suis arrivé à la regarder danser. Il était intéressant, j’ai vu quelques mouvements que je veux apprendre.
Après cela, son père d’accueil est venu nous chercher. Chez elle, nous avons dîné et puis parlé. J’ai commencé une note écriture en français, puis j’ai demandé à la sœur d’accueil de Viva, Justine, pour corriger.
Nous avons parlé un peu plus, puis went to bed. Nous allons avoir une double soirée pyjama , donc je vais là-bas encore aujourd’hui.

3 JOURS PLUS JUSQU’A VACANCES! J’ai des sentiments mixed à ce sujet.
Bon, j’ai acheté des croissants ce matin avant je marchais à l’école. J’ai eu un test en SVT que je ne connaissais pas jusqu’à ce que la cloche a sonné. Je took it et je hope at least quelque chose de correct. Le mardi, c’est un de mes jours préférés de la semaine scolaire car j’ai only 3 classes. Et je commence tard et finir tôt.
En français, il y avait une feuille de papier qui went around the salle. Il était pour moi. C’était exercices. Il y avait Masculin ou Féminin, Traduire, puis je devais create my own en Français.
Quand j’ai écrit mon own, le prof lire some out loud et la classe de les corriger. Ils étaient tous corrects!
Après l’école, je suis allé au magasin et j’ai acheté des bonbons pour ma fête! J’espère que tout le monde vient!
