Thursday-Sunday

I went to the seaside with my host family on Thursday night and there was no internet at the house so that’s why I didn’t write for a few days. Now, I’m going to fill you in about the weekend.

On Thursday, we drove to the seaside. I was in the middle seat, between Camille and Nicolas. We arrived at about 8pm, put our stuff down and ate dinner. I shared a room with Camille and that night I watched Just Go With It. It was SO funny!!! On Friday, Camille, Nicolas, and I walked down to the ocean. There were a bunch of big rocks that led to the water, so I walked across them and eventually got to the end. I felt the water, just to say I did, and it was VERY COLD!! For lunch that day, we had canard, or duck. And I actually ate it!! After lunch, we drove to Vannes to shop. It was all but Nicolas this time. When we got back to the house, we ate dinner and then I watched Twilight. On Saturday, Camille, her mom, and I went to see this castle. It was really nice and I got pictures! At the house, I helped Camille with her English hw. She had to record her voice as if she was doing an interview on an Olympic athlete. It was really funny because she wanted to do some of it in a British accent. I talked to her in the British accent and she was so amazed! I guess I can do it because I’m American. On Saturday, we also went to this boat sale thing. Which was cool. At the house, Camille and I were in our room and I was singing. Without me knowing, Camille was recording me. We played it back and changed the voice so I sounded like a chipmunk. We laughed so hard!!! That night was a family movie. We watched The Visitors in America, in French. The parts I understood were funny! Yesterday, we had calamari for lunch, then Camille, Nicolas, and I went on a bike ride. It was really pretty and I got lots of pictures. That night it was back to town.

Last night, I video chatted with Emily and we laughed so hard!!! We were reading Anti-Jokes and they were so funny!!! I really miss laughing with her!

Anyway, more tonight.
